It is not a secret that people wear the clothes they feel comfortable dressed up with. Clothes count for first impression. It is an ancient proverb and it has a point. Clothes do count for first impression and it is also count for the temper and character of people. Sure, there is no point to care about clothes people wear while they are at work, as the policy of certain company provides certain dress-code for its workers. The clothes that worth attention to be paid to are the clothes people wear when they go for a walk or have rest at weekends.
So, one way or another one who prefers lose overall will never wear suits at his or her day off. Pay your attention to appearance of a man and you will know for sure all of his likes and dislikes. First of all a couple of words should be said about the color of clothes. The deal is not only the subconscious choice one made but also one's following the fashion. Say, a man wears clothes according to last fashion tendencies. In this case you may state that your man is the one who doesn't afraid of changes and who always care about staying in line of this life.
If a man gives no damn to fashion and wears clothes he likes – he is the one who doesn't care about mass opinion. This man knows what he wants and one will hardly manage to affect his point of view or beliefs. The best thing you can do is support him whatever he does or whatever he wants to do. You will never manage to bring him over to one's point of view by using clichés like "People say..." or "It is generally accepted that..." as a man of this kind doesn't give a damn about what people say or what it is generally accepted. He is an inventor and he always finds his on way to his aim.
On the other hand, a man may be loyal to his style because he is afraid of everything new, of any changes which may occur. Men of this kind usually wear the same trousers and jackets they wore as they were at high-school. These are people who are used to certain way of life, to certain regime of their lives and they will never change it as they are pretty sure that any changes only to worth. These are dusty conservators and they are thirsty for stability and common fluency of life. If this man is a bachelor it will take you ages and a number of titanic efforts to assure him that marriage or relationships are not as bad as he thinks them to be.
But, we forgot about the colors. As for the colours things are easy here. There is no big difference between common meanings of colours and their meanings when it is about clothes. Red is a colour of passionate and aim-directed person. He is always sure about his desires and dreams. Moreover, he is also sure about the ways to make the dreams come true. He will easily get over any barrier on his way to his aim. It is perfect if he also prefers blue in the cloth. Blue is a colour of restrained and calm man who will remain cold-blooded no matter what happens. Beware of the one who is fond of green colour. These are the people who just as aim-directed as those of the red colour, but they see no difference between barriers on their ways. They will easily get over a barrier even if the barrier is you.
