Indeed, tie is a great deal of men's appearance. It is not that easy to choose a tie that will match a suit and a shirt. In most cases they are women who help men choose their ties. It is possible that in case when tie matches perfectly to his suit the tie was chosen and bought with his mom. I case if it was chosen and bough with his mom than he is a mommy's boy. What is a man who is not even able to buy a tie himself? He is barely may be considered a man. So, tell him that his tie matches perfectly his suit and pay him a compliment about his taste. A mommy's boy will be pleased with compliment paid for his mother and will tell you that a tie was chosen with her. Once you hear it – run away. Everything in his life is chosen with his mother, and be sure that you will also be "a tie". In case if his mother will decide that you match badly his "suit" he won't do anything to keep you.
But, if a man wears tie that matches perfectly his suit and shirt, and he has no wife or girlfriend, and it is not his mom who have chosen the tie than he is a man of perfect taste. He cares much about his look and he also cares much about look of people around him. He will never pay his attention to a woman who is dressed up tasteless. It will take a lot of efforts for you to be with this man. He will always care greatly about your appearance as he wants everyone to be fond of you. This man will recognise you as a part of his perfect life, and a part of a perfect life have to be perfect in order not to spoil total perfectness.
To my humble opinion it is better to pay your attention to a man who hates ties and wears these only when the situation demands it. Actually, men who are fond of ties in their everyday lives are man who just can't relax. They are always ready for fight and they are in permanent race of this life. These men care much about their career, about their social status and they do their best in order to reach the highest top of social scale. They are ready to sacrifice everything and everyone for their purpose. But men who wear ties only at work or other official events are the men who manage to gain success of their career but they still remember about their personal life.
